Disarming Hamas. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. That's what President Trump says is happening in Gaza through the Board of Peace

The president saying this agreement is a critical step towards Gaza finally being governed by a new Palestinian government that will work closely with the Board of Peace to help the Palestinian people. At the same time, Israel will have the security it deserves. With Gaza no longer used as a base for tariffs attacks. The president says the agreement will be carried out in structured phases. As Hamas gives up their weapons, the Israeli forces will withdraw. The International Stabilization Force will then work with a new Palestinian police force to keep Gaza safe.

There's no official reaction still from Israel about this disarmament agreement after Hamas's deadly 2023 terror attack in Israel that triggered the even deadlier and destructive war in Gaza. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche's nomination remains in limbo as two Republican senators who fell out of favor with President Trump, John Corn and Thom Tillis, consider a no vote in committee. At issue, a Trump IRS settlement that had set up a so called anti weaponization fund to compensate people who claim they were politically targeted by the Biden Justice Department. Blanche says that fund has been canceled but Senator Cornyn isn't convinced.

The Pentagon says its new separate category for troop casualties was created to account for those killed and wounded in the renewed fighting with Iran because Operation Epic Fury, the military's name for combat operations against Tehran, has ended. The Defense Casualty Analysis System has removed the four soldiers killed and dozens of troops wounded in the latest exchange of fire from its official Iran war count and placed them in a new overseas operations category. And checking that Pentagon database, which was updated yesterday, the total number of American deaths in those two categories is at 18, with 653 US troops wounded. A Georgia dad gets 15 years in prison for a crime his son committed. Colin Gray was convicted of murder and manslaughter for giving Colt the gun the boy used in the school shooting that left two students and two teachers dead at Apalachia high school in 2024. Colt Gray got life in prison. Judge Nicholas Prim told Colin Gray failed as a parent but did not give him the 80 year sentence prosecutors wanted.

A mom and dad in Arizona will not be prosecute for what happened to their toddler.

Prosecutors in Maricopa county say there is not enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Angelo and Alexis Fiordellino's actions rose to the level of criminal child abuse. The parents, 18 month old son Vincent was rushed to Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical center in February after being found inside the family's pool. The toddler was mistakenly pronounced dead by an ER physician, only to be found breathing in the morgue five hours later.
