In Virginia, three sheriff's deputies recovering after being injured by shrapnel from shots fired while they executed search warrants. The suspected gunman then got into an hours long standoff before James Leonard finally gave up.

In June, a jury couldn't reach a verdict on the rape charge involving man, a former actor, but did find Weinstein guilty of sexually assaulting former Project Runway production assistant Miriam Haley in 2006 and not guilty of assaulting Polish model Kaya Sokola that same year. Weinstein's sentencing for the Haley conviction is set for September 30, but the judge says he won't sentence until the Mann case is resolved.
