Zelensky to Washington. I'm Debra Valentine, Fox News. Ukrainian President Zelensky has announced he'll meet with President Trump in Washington, D.C. on Monday. It follows President Trump's face to face meeting with Russian President Putin in Alaska on Friday over ending the Russian war on Ukraine. Fox's Jackie Abanez has the latest.

Ukrainian President Zelensky says he plans to meet US President Donald Trump in Washington Monday. Zelensky says he had a quote, meaningful conversation with Trump Saturday after he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. President Trump returned to the White House early this morning. He called the Alaska meeting productive but left Alaska without securing an agreement from Putin to end Russia's war in Ukraine. Of course, this all comes as the White House has increased pressure on Russia to end the more than three years long war.

During this interview, President Donald Trump said on a scale of 1 to 10 he would rate the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin as a 10 based on the fact that they get along. Also during the Hannity noted that Putin got an up close look at the power and sophistication of the US military when those two B2 stealth bombers and four F35 cell fighters flew over them during the visit. Now as for their effort to end the war, Trump said quote, there is no deal unless there's a deal. But that they did make good progress. And they also discuss how Putin said the war would not have started if Trump had been President.

A senior DHS official tells Fox News due to threats and security concerns, she's been forced to temporarily stay in secure military housing. But some Democrats, they're arguing that Noem is misusing military resources because she is staying at the base for free of charge, noting that cabinet secretaries generally pay fair market value to stay in housing there. The ranking Democrat on the House Homeland Security Committee, Bernie Thompson, writing in a statement saying she should brief Congress and request appropriate resources, not take over property from the Coast Guard.
