Chicago is a hellhole right now. Baltimore is a hellhole right now.

But Chicago seems to be his first priority, saying he'll solve the crime problem there, like his crackdown in Washington, D.C. that included federal troops and agents.

The grim numbers for Labor Day weekend are now in. According to the Chicago Police Department, 50 people were wounded and eight killed shootings. Illinois Governor J.B. pritzker says while he welcomes federal law enforcement officers from the FBI and ATF to help combat crime, he just doesn't want to see soldiers called up who he says should only be used in an emergency.

That's fox's Lucas Tomlinson. The president spoke hours after a federal judge ruled he illegally deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles back in June to deal with protests against the illegal immigration raids.

While there was violence during immigration protests in LA this year, a federal judge says there was no rebellion nor was civil civilian law enforcement unable to respond. Therefore, Judge Charles Breyer says the use of military troops was a violation of the Posse comatitis Act, an 1870s law prohibiting the military from executing domestic law enforcement.

Fox is Jared Halpert at the White House. The Trump administration argues the troops only were there to support federal agents and protect federal property. Now, another legal setback. A federal appeals court has ruled the president cannot invoke the Alien Enemies act from the 18th century to fast track deportations of people or illegally like he did in March when he sent alleged gangs members to El Salvador and back to the Oval Office. The president also announced they took military action in the southern Caribbean, targeting and killing 11 Venezuelan gang members.

We just over the last few minutes literally shot out a boat, a drug carrying boat. A lot of drugs in that boat.

The US has recently deployed ships not far from Venezuela to combat drug trafficking. America's listening to FOX News.

Jury has refused to indict a man who was accused of making a death threat against President Trump, prompting U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C. jeanine Pirro to call that jury political. A different grand jury last month also refused to indict a woman who was accused of threatening the president. But someone else is facing charges.

A federal trial is scheduled to begin Monday in Fort Pierce, Florida, for the man law enforcement say attempted to shoot and kill President Trump during a golf game at the Trump West Palm Beach Golf Club in September of last year. Ryan Wesley Ruth is now representing himself. Ruth never was able to fire a shot, having been found and confronted by US Secret Service agents at the golf course. The alleged attempt came just months after the then candidate survived being shot by a would be assassin in Pennsylvania. In Miami, Eben Brown, FOX News On.
