Piloted by terrorists sought out definitive targets to scar a Nation. At 8:46am the North Tower of the World Trade center was hit by American Airlines Flight 11. 9:03am United Flight 175 struck its twin the the south tower. The Pentagon in Washington was hit by American Air Flight 77. At 9:37am back in New York City, the South World Trade tower collapsed at 9:59. 10:03, another hijacked plane, United Flight 93, crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. At 10:28am World Trade's North Tower was last to fall. Nearly 3,000 dead on one day America will long remember. Grinnell Scott, FOX News.

President Trump will be at the Pentagon this morning and will attend a Yankee game in New York City. In the Bronx tonight, Vice President Vance will travel to ground zero in New York City, an investigator still searching for the person who shot and killed conservative activists in Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. FBI Director Kash Patel said a subject was in custody but has since been released after an interrogation by law enforcement. Kirk was about 20 minutes into a speech as part of Turning Point USA's the American American Comeback Tour on the campus of Utah Valley University. He was taking questions when a single gunshot rang out, striking Kirk in the neck. There was around 3,000 people in attendance at the time and a handful of officers. Kirk was speaking under a tent at the time of the shooting. Authorities say the gunman fired the shot from a distance on campus. Authorities say the shooter is believed to have fired that gunshot from the roof of a building into the student Courtyard.

Three teens have been hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting at a suburban Denver high school. The shooting happening around midday Wednesday at Evergreen High School in Evergreen, about 30 miles west of Denver. All of those taken to the hospital believed to be students. Selected for the case of Ryan Ruth, the man accused of plotting to shoot then candidate Trump on a Florida golf course last year. Opening statement are scheduled to begin at 9 o' clock Thursday morning with the judge allotting 40 minutes for the prosecution and 40 minutes for the defendant himself, who's acting as his own attorney. Throughout jury selection, Ruth occasionally consulted with court appointed standby lawyers, but so far continues to follow through on his desire to represent himself. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy looking to make some changes to air traffic amid a spike in near collisions and a couple of catastrophic crashes this year between aircrafts. Fox's Connor Hanson has more on this.

CEOs of major airlines were seen in Washington leaving a meeting with Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. Reportedly on the agenda, the government's $12.5 billion plan to improve the the nation's antiquated air traffic control system. Duffy is asking Congress to add another 19 billion. The push for more investment comes after high profile problems this year like the crash of a commercial plane and a military helicopter in Washington, D.C. last week. Secretary Duffy said 2,000 air traffic controllers will be hired this year. But despite the added investment, some Democrats say they're still concerned about federal funding cuts.
