So far they found four people dead and eight injured in what the FBI calls a targeted attack by gunman who's also dead.

Hundreds of people were inside worshiping when police say the gunman rammed his car into the front doors. Authorities say he got out of the car and started shooting police before officers arrived and exchanged fire with him, killing him. Police say the gunman deliberately set the church on fire. It was engulfed in flames for a couple of hours and unfortunately it is a total loss.

The second big Trump meeting today is with congressional leaders from both parties ahead of tomorrow's deadline to fund the government and prevent a shutdown. I am glad the president is finally agreeing, agreed to meet with the leadership in Congress. He canceled the meeting last week, which I think was a big mistake. Senator Amy Klobuchar tells CBS Face the Nation. Democrats want to prevent cuts to health care programs. But House Speaker Mike Johnson tells Fox the Republican plan is just a simple extension during ongoing budget planning to keep the government open for seven more weeks so the appropriators can finish that process. Multiple War Department officials confirming to Fox News that the leaders have been asked to fly to Virginia. The Pentagon also confirming the news, with a spokesperson saying the secretary of war will be addressing his senior military leaders. The order applies to those with a rank of brigadier general or higher or or the Navy equivalent of their top enlisted advisors. Some are wondering if cuts are going to be made. War Department Secretary Pete Hegseth said in the past he'd like to cut 20% of senior generals and admirals back in May, calling the reduction part of the less generals, more GIS policy. There are currently 44 four star general and flag officers across the military. Per Secretary Hegseth, that's a ratio of one general per about 1400 troops.
