The roughly hour long meeting with President Trump and top congressional leaders on Monday yielding no breakthroughs. Republicans want a temporary spending measure that the House already passed. It keeps funding at current levels while lawmakers continue to work through the appropriations process. But they're accusing Democrats of making unreasonable demands. One of the things they're calling for is an extension of the Obamacare subsidies which expire at the end of the year. And without them, premium payments could go up for millions of Americans.

23 year old Abdi Sitar Ahmed Hassan made some alarming posts on social media showing support for a man who attacked Bourbon street in New Orleans over New Year's in the name of isis. His sympathetic views towards the attacker and positive views of the terror group got the FBI's attention. They watched him try to travel to Somalia twice to join isis.
