Ordering Israel to stop bombing the Gaza Strip, this after Hamas partially accepted his peace plan to end the nearly two year war. The Palestinian militant group has accepted some of the elements of Trump's plan, including the transfer of power to other Palestinians. Hamas says it is also willing to release all remaining hostages taken during the October 7 attack. But but the group says there are still disagreements that need to be worked out.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Israel was ready to implement the first stage of the peace proposal. The federal government shutdown continuing into the weekend. Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana on Fox's Ingraham Angle accusing Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez of being behind the shutdown.

The group calling the shots is the socialist wing, the loon wing of the Democratic Party because they are in control. And the head of the socialist wing of the Democratic Party is Congresswoman Ocasio Cortez. She's really calling these shots.

The Senate left town for the weekend without a deal to reopen the government. And the House has canceled votes for the next week, frustrating Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who wants Republicans to negotiate. Johnson and House Republicans care more about protecting the Epstein files than protecting the American people. Republicans, though, think the deal on the table is a good one, a clean extension of government funding until late November and say Democrats are pandering to their left flank. But Democrats want an extension of Affordable Care act tax subsidies and restrictions on President Trump's ability to cut spending already approved by Congress. Entrepreneur Sean Diddy Combs has been sentenced to four years and two months in prison for his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Multiple defense attorneys pleaded for leniency, asking for a sentence that would've let Diddy walk soon on time served. They pointed to Diddy's tough childhood, his addiction to painkillers after surgery and his influence in music and culture. But prosecutors doubled down and asked the judge for a stiff sentence of 11 years. They pointed to trial evidence and witness testimony, calling this a case about a man who did horrible things for his own gratification. Diddy does have the option to appeal. In New York, Stevie Cotton, FOX News.
