A troop deployment to another city blocked again. I'm Dave Anthony, FOX News. Portland is burning to the ground. You have agitators, insurrectioners. But President Trump's plans to send National Guard troops to Oregon stuck in legal limbo. This is the second setback now for the White House from this federal judge in Oregon. The administration is trying to restore order for immigration enforcement in Portland. First, the judge blocked efforts to deploy the Oregon National Guard to help. Then when the administration pivoted to send in Guard units from California and Texas, the judge blocked that plan, too. Fox's Doug Luce California's Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom celebrated writing on X. Trump's abuse of power won't stand. But Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a Republican, has authorized National Guard troops to go to other cities, perhaps Chicago, to help quell protests. But Illinois Governor J.B. pritzker, a Democrat, doesn't want them back. To President Trump, who spoke to reporters after going to Norfolk, Virginia, to celebrate the Navy's 250th birthday, the Democrats are causing the loss of a lot jobs with their It's a shutdown. It's their shutdown. And on day six of this government shutdown, Democrats keep blaming Republicans for refusing to negotiate on their demands to roll back what they say are earlier Republican cuts to health care coverage and subsidies for Americans. There's a new attempt to get a ceasefire in Gaza. Israel and Hamas holding indirect talks with negotiators in Egypt on President Trump's plan. It would see all remaining hostages released and Israeli troops withdraw from parts of Gaza. Meanwhile, attacks on the territory continue. Locals say artillery and airstrikes have pounded Gaza City overnight. That's Fox's Jonathan Savage, now Secretary of State Marco Rubio tells Fox News Sunday. Once all that fighting stops, that whole place has to be rebuilt. That's not going to happen in 72 hours or six weeks. I mean, that's going to take some time. While President Trump was celebrating the Navy's 250th birthday, ships are out patrolling the Caribbean off the Venezuelan coast to combat drug trafficking. And Friday, a fourth boat was intercepted and destroyed. White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt said the strikes by the president are consistent with his responsibility to protect the United States interests abroad. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth wrote in a post on X that, quote, the vessel was trafficking narcotics. The people on board were narco terrorists. Levitt says this is what the president pledged during last year's campaign when he promised to end the drug epidemic that has taken far too many American lives, and you're seeing those actions play out. The administration says four narco terrorists were killed in Friday's strike. Seattle beat Detroit 32 to tie that series one one. Toronto routed the New York Yankees 13 7. The Blue Jays up two games to none. The NASCAR playoffs down to the quarterfinals after the race in Charlotte. In a wild swing on the last lap, things are going in Joey Logano's favor.
