Just a short time ago, the Israeli Defense Forces gave a simple statement that this nation has waited two years to hear. There are no more living hostages in Hamas captivity.

Those hostages, from two different locations of them alive have been transferred first from Hamas to the Red Cross and then from the International Red Cross to Israeli military forces. And then the IDF brought them to a base in Raim, a military base inside of Israel. From there, some of them, the initial seven, are now preparing to go to hospitals in Tel Aviv.

We're still awaiting word on the remains of the 28 dead hostages Hamas also is to hand over. The Seattle Mariners won the opening game in the American League Championship series, beating Toronto 3 1. On Sunday night Football, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Detroit Lions 30 to 17.
