His trip to the Mid east comes as the administration is trying to keep a cease fire in Gaza intact. Both Israel and Hamas have already accused each other of violating the deal. Two Israeli soldiers were killed over the weekend, leading to additional airstrikes. But both Vance and President Trump insist lasting peace is possible.

Well, there may not be another Trump Putin summit. The president says he's no longer planning to meet with Russia's leader in Hungary, originally set up last week when he also met with Ukraine's president.

Early this morning, Russia went on the attack again with another big missile and drone barrage across Ukraine, killing at least six people, also knocking out power in some areas hitting energy infrastructure. Now the president has set a condition for talks on another pressing issue.

Top Senate Democrat Chuck Schumer and top House Democrat Hakeem Jeffries are seeking a sit down with President Trump as the government shutdown hits its fourth week. The president's response?

Schumer says he's willing to meet anytime in any place before President Trump departs on Friday for summits in Asia.

Well, since President Trump returned to the White House, there has been a massive drop in illegal border crossings in his immigration crackdown and there is a new focus along the Texas Mexico border.

Operation River Wall will see the Coast Guard employ more than 100 boats and hundreds of personnel to better secure the Rio Grande and further prevent illegal immigration and drug smuggling into the U.S. speaking in Florida, Noem reflected on the progress DHS has made since President Trump took office.

Since January, the Department of Homeland Security has arrested over 480,000 criminal illegal aliens. 70% of those individuals have criminal charges against them.

More than 40% of Santa Clara county is made up of immigrants and it's anticipated that ICE will eventually ramp up major operations in the county. On Wall street, stock futures are lower after a mixed day. The Dow surged up 218 points, but the Nasdaq dropped 36. The NBA season tipped off last night in Oklahoma City where the Thunder ra season's championship banner and then played an overtime thriller.
