Mixed messages. I'm Angelo Bavaro. Fox News President Trump says Iran is ready to negotiate an end to the war, but Iranian officials say otherwise, denying their request for negotiations. This comes as Trump calls on allies to help defend the Strait of Hormuz, responsible for one fifth of the world's oil supply.

The president tells NBC in a phone interview that Iran is ready to talk, but he doesn't think the terms are good enough yet for a deal on. Iran, on the other hand, says they will continue to stand their ground as Iran continues to use Australia for moves as a pressure point against the US President Trump is calling for countries to respond and send warships to help secure the strait and keep it open and says this should have been a team effort and now it will be. As Americans watch gas prices rise due to the war, the administration continues to push the message that prices will drop once it's over. Democrats are calling this war a war of choice with no coherent strategy or end.

At one point people were waiting for nearly an hour and a half and we've been speaking to many people waiting in these lines who are frustrated, antsy and say this is all unfair. Major airline CEOs are sharing their open letter to call Congress urging them to immediately find a way to fund dhs. They say airlines are doing everything they can to mitigate disruptions by doing things like holding flights for late passengers, rebooking others. But they say it's time for the government to step up.
