The Mexican Independence Day celebration and parade is underway here in Chicago's predominantly Hispanic Pilsen neighborhood. Volunteers have been printing pamphlets telling people what to do if they encounter federal agents. They've handed out whistles as well so they can sound the alarm if anyone spots a federal agent or if arrests are taking place. But the organizer of this parade anticipates a peaceful event. The talking points from Democrats out here is that the president is trying to trigger a riots with these enhanced immigration enforcement and therefore justify the need for the deployment of the National Guard to the city of Chicago.

Chicago is one of many Democratic led cities where the president is looking to crack down on illegal immigration. Hundreds of people were detained by ICE agents as they raided a Hyundai factory in Georgia, Georgia where the car makers partnered with an American company to make EV batteries. Fox's Madison Scarpinos in Savannah officials say.

It was a result of a months long investigation into illegal workers. But Hyundai says that none of the hundreds arrested directly worked for the motor company. But we the majority of those detained were from South Korea and South Korea's foreign ministry is not happy.

Britain's Deputy prime minister has resigned, Angela Rayner, admitting she underpaid her property taxes. Fox's Stephanie Bennett says it's forced Prime Minister Keir Starmer to reorganize the federal government.

Foreign Secretary David Lammy has been moved to deputy prime minister and also justice secretary. He's going to be Starmer's right hand man. Well, Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, she's now going to be the new foreign secretary. And Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmoud, she's going to be now the home secretary and she's going to have to tackle immigration. Starmer's Labor Party swept to power on a landslide just last year, but his economy is barely growing. Summer protests surrounded asylum hotels in recent weeks. And recent polls also show that Starmer's popularity is declining. Meanwhile, Reform UK led by Nigel Farage, their support is growing and Farage is hoping to capitalize on Labor's loss. At a sold out two day conference, Farage pledged to make Britain great again.

The Reform Party's leader says based on the current government issues, they could have an election in 2027 instead of 2029 when they're supposed to have the next elections. Cases of a potentially deadly disease are on the rise in the U.S. fox's Pampuso has the story.

Three active cases of tuberculosis have been reported in Maine. That has health officials reaching out to people in the greater Portland area who may have come into contact with the infected patients. Health officials say each case appears to have been contracted from a separate source. Cases have also been detected recently in California and Michigan. TB isn't as contagious as COVID 19 or the flu, but it is the world's deadliest infectious disease, killing more than a million people a year, according to the World Health Organization.
