A targeted attack at an ICE facility. I'm Lisa Licera of Fox News. One detainee has died, two others critically hurt after a man opened fire on an ICE transport van in Dallas.

Fox has identified the shooter as 29 year old Joshua John, who turned the gun on himself after the shooting and died from a self inflicted gunshot wound. The FBI sharing pictures of rounds found right near the shooter engraved with anti ice metal messages. This is the latest in a string of targeted attacks on ICE facilities here in Texas. You know, at this same facility there was a man that was arrested last month for making a bomb threat. And then in July, a group ambushed officers outside a separate Texas ICE facility. One of those officers was shot and survived.

Fox's Brooke Taylor Intellis Shortly after the shooting, Texas Senator Ted Cruz called for an end to political violence. President Trump also called for an end to political violence. Writing on true social ICE officers and other brave members of law enforcement are under grave threat. The deadline approaching for lawmakers to reach a deal to avoid a partial government shutdown. But so far there's been no movement. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries blamed Republicans for the stalemate.

The White House has said it wants a short term measure that would fund the government through the third week of November.
