Overnight, hundreds of thousands of Israelis gathered here in Hostages Square for what they hope will be their final rally. With the families of those expected to be released by Hamas standing behind them and many former hostages, anticipation is high in these final hours. The hostages are expected to be picked up by the Red Cross inside Gaza and then transferred to Israeli forces. Then they'll be reunited with family members and flown by helicopter to local hospitals for medical treatment. The hostages are set to be exchanged for nearly 2,000 Palestinians prisoners, 142 of them are likely to be deported abroad, 100 released into the West bank, five to East Jerusalem and three to Gaza.

President Trump was outraged this past week when China imposed tight export controls on its rare earth minerals. Rare earths are needed for tech ranging from cell phones to cars. Vice President J.D.
J.D. Vance
Vance told Fox they basically not just with the United States, but with the entire world, threaten to completely cut off trade for critical resources, critical minerals, things that all of us rely on.
Jill Naito
So President Trump said the US would be charging a new 100% tariff on China in November. But the president posted on Truth Social Sunday, don't worry about China. It will all be fine. Highly respected President Xi just had a bad moment. Trump went on to say the USA wants to help China, not hurt it. In Washington, chill NATO. Fox News.

France's newly reappointed prime Minister, Sebastian Lecornau named a new government today as he faces pressure to urgently produce a budget and quell political turmoil that is scarring business and staining the country's image. The cabinet includes several members who served in previous governments from President Emmanuel Macron, centrist camp and allied conservatives, as well as a few people from outside the political circle. It's unclear how long the new term will last. Macron, whose term runs to 2027, lacks a majority in the deeply fractured parliament. Opposition leaders have called for new elections or his resignation. Heavy rains in Mexico have set off floods and landslides, killing at least 41. Across the Gulf coast, more than 16,000 homes were damaged. Countrywide, 320,000 users were affected by power outages, cost caused by the torrential rains, authorities attributing the deadly downpours to tropical storms. I'm Kathleen Maloney. This is FOX News.
