The push for peace. I'm Angelo Bavaro, Fox News. Talks continue today in Geneva, Switzerland over a U S backed plan to end Russia's war in Ukraine.

The president is ramping up the pressure to end the war, presenting the Ukrainians with a peace plan that's drawn some bipartisan and international concern. GOP Senator Roger Ricker says Ukraine should not be forced to cede territory to Russia. He also says any cap on Ukraine's military should be a choice it should make. Ricker bluntly stating, this so called peace plan has real problems and I am highly skeptical it will achieve peace. The president though indicated today the plan is not his final offer. This weekend a lot of eyes will be on Geneva where top administration officials including Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and special envoy Steve Witkoff are meeting with a Ukrainian delegation to see if they can come to an agreement.

There was some kind of dispute between the driver of a gray Dodge and a white SUV that escalated into a physical fight during which the driver of the Dodge shot into the suv, killing the male driver and injuring the female passenger as well as two young children sitting in the backseat. A third child was with them but was not hurt. All three of the injured were taken to the hospital. The shooter was taken into custody. About a quarter of the U.S. navy's deployed warships are in the Caribbean. The Vanguard the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford with four squadrons of F18 Super Hornets aboard. There are now over 200 Tomahawk cruise missiles in theater aboard Gatan missile destroyers and cruisers. And one of those destroyers, the USS Stocktale, recently cut off a Russian oil tanker headed for Venezuela from Cuba. According to Bloomberg, the tanker now sits off the coast of Venezuela where the FAA has issued a new warning to airliners flying over Venezuela. In the southern Caribbean, after F18s from Ford were seen flying offshore.

US Marines have returned to their ships following a week long training exercise in Trinidad. An explosion has ripped through a senior living apartment complex in Ohio.
