Something good just may be happening. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. President Trump posted that on Truth Social a short time ago after writing, is it really possible that big progress is being made in peace talks between Russia and Ukraine? Don't believe it until you see it. Secretary of State Marco Rubio as part of the negotiations. I feel very optimistic that we can get something done here because we made a tremendous amount of progress today.

Rubio says the talks with Ukrainian officials in Geneva over the weekend was perhaps the most productive engagement they've ever had on the Ukraine war. He's not declaring victory just yet, but says they're further along than they were. Rubio did not get into what they discussed yesterday. Critics, though, have warned against giving in to Russian demands like handing the Kremlin Ukraine's territory in the eastern Donbas region and ruling out NATO membership for Ukraine.

Fox's Madeleine Rivera Israel has gone on the attack in Lebanon with strikes near Beirut that Lebanese officials say killed at least five people. Among them Hate Hezbollah's chief of staff after weekend airstrikes in Gaza that left 20 people dead there. Israel calls it retaliation for a Hamas attack fraying a ceasefire that had stopped the war. In Nigeria, 50 students who were kidnapped Friday got away from their captors.

Parents rushed to St. Mary's School when news broke of the escape in the hope of being reunited with their kids. The students were among more than 300 abducted from the Catholic school in Nigeria's Niger state. Some were as young as six years old. Twelve teachers were also taken hostage. This is the worst mass kill kidnapping in a recent spate that has forced schools in parts of Nigeria to close.

According to Triple A, nearly 82 million people are expected to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday, which is a record high. And Tuesday is supposed to be the busiest day at the airports.
