This is a FOX News alert. The manhunt at Brown University is over. I'm Dave Anthony. The suspected gunman found dead days after the shooting that left two students dead, nine wounded.
Brian Yenis
Police credit an anonymous tipster who called into the tip line on Tuesday saying frankly that he had seen the shooter in the area just a couple hours before the shooting. That tipster also wrote on Reddit a description of a vehicle on a gray Nissan with Florida plates just a couple blocks away from the engineering and physics building here on Brown University. Well, that anonymous tipster happens to also be the same man police released images of. And we're asking the public to help identify because of how close he was seen walking by the shooter in surveillance video. His name is John, a homeless man and former Brown University student.

That suspected shooter, his name is Claudio Neves Valente from Portugal. He attended the same university as MIT professor Nuno Lauriero in Lisbon, Portugal, back in the 1990s. Neves Valente is accused of murdering Loriero in Brookline, Massachusetts, after committing the Brown University shooting.

Valente came to the US in 2017 given a green card, a diversity visa lottery program that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has put on hold and opposed to Hannox last night. This could be big for the use of medical marijuana. Fox's Jared Halpern is at the White House.

President Trump says his executive order won't legalize or decriminalize marijuana for recreational purposes. But reclassifying cannabis as a Schedule 3 substance will relax regulations that restricted medical research.
Unidentified Analyst
The facts compel the federal government to recognize that marijuana can be legitimate in terms of medical applications when carefully administered in some cases.

This is deadline day for the Justice Department to do what Congress mandated in a near unanimous vote. Hand over the files from the Jeffrey Epstein investigation trying to find more people linked to to his sex trafficking of underage girls.
Grinal Scott
Six years after Epstein's death by suicide in a New York City jail cell, his infamous files are set to be released. President Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency act one month ago. That said, today is the date the documents come out. US Attorney General Pam Bondi is in charge of the release, but she has some discretion about which files can be made public. Any documents that could compromise a federal probe or current court case could be held. Back on Wednesday, convicted Epste associate Ghislaine Maxwell asked the federal judge to vacate her sex abuse conviction. It's not clear how or if that request could affect which files can be withheld. Grinal Scott, FOX News On Wall street.
