The explosive device detonated under the car of Lieutenant General Fanel Sarvorov. Russian investigators say one line of inquiry is that Ukraine's intelligence service was responsible. Sarvorov was head of the operational training in the Russian Armed Forces General staff. He's the third senior officer to be killed in just over a year.

Officials from both countries talked separately with American negotiators on a US Brokered peace proposal. The US Is pursuing more black market oil in another tanker off the coast of Venezuela where two have already been taken as President Trump has a blockade around the country. Fox's Madeleine Rivera reports.

A U.S. official says this third oil tanker is on the U.S. sanctions list, adding it's flying a false flag. It is under a judicial seizure order. It's unclear at this time if the vessel has been boarded, but it comes after the US Coast Guard with the help of the Department of War seized a second oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela over the weekend.

New court documents revealing the gunman took firearms training at an undisclosed location in the countryside. The documents also state the pair threw four improvised explosive devices at the crowd moments before they opened fire. None of those devices detonated. The attack killed 15 people and injured more than 40 others. The victims were gathered at an event celebrating the first night of Hanukkah. A video of the shooter standing in front of an image of the ISIS flag was also released. It shows the terror suspects making anti Semitic statements and justifications for their actions. The 50 year old father was killed by police. The 24 year old son was crit.

Injured and he was released from a hospital today, taken to a prison to await a trial on murder and other charges. There is flooding in Northern California. One person was killed in Reading. There have also been evacuations and others needed to be rescued from the high water. On Wall street stock futures, they are rising modestly ahead of this week's trading on Sunday Night Football. A playoff spot clinched Stevenson bouncing outside from Andre Stevenson with a block by Williams to the end zone. The Patriots take the touchdown New England. And they held on after that late fourth quarter score. The Patriots beat the Ravens 28 24. On NBC. Baltimore falls two games behind Pittsburgh in the AFC North Division race after the Steelers beat the Detroit Lions 29 24. The Jacksonville Jaguars snap the Broncos 11 game win streak with a 3420 win in Denver. The Houston Texans won their seventh straight game.
