Ousted Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro will be arraigned tomorrow in federal court at noon Eastern. He'll be driven there from this federal detention facility where he's currently behind bars. Since he's arriving arrived here, we've seen both protest and celebration outside this prison. Hundreds last night waving Venezuelan flags and people cheering for Maduro's downfall as he arrived at the Metropolitan Detention Center. But today, another gathering, protesters chanting release Maduro right now. And condemning the US Military action that got us to this point.

Meantime, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer taking issue with Congress not being informed before the Maduro capture took place. He questions the legality. They did not just do ships off the water. They went inside. Venezuela bombed civilian as well as military places. And it's a violation of the law to do what they did without getting the authorization of Congress. Schumer on ABC this week. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, meantime, says the White House did not have to inform Congress beforehand about the capture of Maduro because the military was executing a law enforcement operation. This is not an invasion. We didn't occupy a country. This was an arrest operation. This is a law enforcement operation. He was arrested on the ground in Venezuela by FBI agents, read his rights and removed from the country. Secretary Rubio. Also on ABC's this Week, airlines now scrambling to help passengers whose planes were disrupted and plans as a result of the US Operation in Venezuela. Service gradually returning on the major carriers. America is listening to Fox News.

North Korea launching multiple ballistic missiles toward its eastern waters today. This coming hours before South Korea's president left for China for talks expected to cover North Korea's nuclear program. In a statement, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff saying it detected the missile launches that traveled almost 600 miles and that South Korea and the US authorities were analyzing the details of those launches. Speaking with reporters, Japan's defense minister called the missile launches a serious problem threatening peace and security of the area. British and French forces meantime carrying out airstrikes on ISIS targets in Syria on Saturday. Fox's Stephanie Bennett in London.

The UK Ministry of Defense says careful intelligence analysis identified an underground facility in the mountains north of Palmyra. Officials believe it was storing weapons and explosives and the area surrounding it was away from civilians. Using guided bombs to target several access tunnels down to the facility. The Ministry of Defense says initial indications show it was a successful mission and all aircraft returned safely. The French military said the strikes were aimed at preventing the resurgence of the ISIS group as the fight against terrorism remains a priority for France and its partners. Britain and France are part of the U. S. Led coalition that has been fighting ISIS militants for more than a decade.

And this comes after US strikes in Syria last month. At least 30 villagers have been killed. Several others are missing after gunmen raided a village in northern Nigeria's Niger state. The gunman swarming the village in in the Borgu local government area on Saturday night, opening up fire on residents. And hundreds marching in silence today Sunday honoring the victims of that New Year's Eve bar fire in the Swiss alpine resort of Krans, Montana that left 40 people dead, many others, in fact, dozens severely injured.
