A nor' easter slamming the Southeast. I'm Carmen Roberts, FOX News. A major snowstorm is battering parts of several states. Fox Weather's Brandy Campbell is in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
B
Here in Myrtle beach, we are expecting 5 to 8 inches of snow. That is significant for this town where the yearly snow average is just under half an inch. Meanwhile, parts of Tennessee and North Carolina have already seen 9 to 10 inches of snow. And in South Carolina, the Department of Transport, they've said their crews are already working and that the road conditions are deteriorating across the state, especially on the western side. Now, I have spoken to the mayor of Myrtle Beach, Mark Krua, and he told me residents have already prepared.
C
People look forward to the snow. It's a fun sort of weather emergency compared to the hurricanes that we normally deal with.
B
We are going to be under a winter storm warning through Sunday evening.

More anti ice protests across the US Today.

Who keeps us safe? We keep us safe.

Those protesters bright braving the bitter cold in Minneapolis where Fox's Brooke Taylor reports.
D
About 2 to 300 of these protesters showed up to this so called ice out with the usual signs there and ice chants. Now these protesters, they're fighting to get ice out of Minnesota. But a big update, Biden appointed district judge here today ruled that officers they can continue to enforce immigration laws. So the judge denied a request from Minnesota attorney general to keep Attorney General Bondi posted on X celebrating this win. She said, quote, neither sanctuary policies nor meritless litigation will stop the Trump administration from enforcing federal law in Minnesota.

And a federal judge sharply criticizes the ice crackdown and orders officials to release a five year old Ecuadorian boy and his father from the Texas detention center by Tuesday. America's listening to FOX News.

Newly disclosed government files on Jeffrey Epstein show authorities thought they were close to indicting him on sex crimes nearly two decades ago before that investigation was suddenly scrapped. A rather unique and angry Valentine's Day tradition is back for another year.
C
It's another year for the name a roach fundraise. Yes, as in cockroaches. Some zoos across the US Are continuing the idea started first by New York City's famed Bronx zoo back in 2011. For a fee that goes to animal charities, you can vent your anger toward a former romantic partner by naming Madagascar hissing cockroach after him or her. Since its Big Apple beginning, cockroach naming has spread to over a dozen other zoos, including those in San Antonio, Birmingham and Chicago. Charitable naming donations generally range from 50 to $75, depending the zoo, and you get a digital certificate commemorating your post. Romantic gotcha. Paul Stevens, FOX News Tributes are pouring.

In for actress Catherine O', Hara, who died yesterday at 71. Fox's Christina Coleman has more from Los Angeles on the beloved actress.

Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ indicates that 71 year old Catherine O' Hara was having difficulty breathing before she was rushed to the hospital yesterday. TMZ reports that first responders were called to her home in Brentwood around 5 o' clock in the morning. Representatives for O' Hara say she passed away at her home following a brief illness. Authorities have not confirmed her cause of death. O' Hara previously revealed she had a rare genetic condition where some organs are positioned in reverse. The Cleveland Clinic says the organs are often still functional. Her co star in the studio, Seth Rogen, wrote, getting to work with her was a true honor. She was hysterical, kind, intuitive, generous. She made me want to make our show good enough to be worthy of her presence in it.
