He and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu will discuss the next stages of that fragile Gaza cease fire. And they are likely to also talk about Iran's statement that it is at war with the West. For Congress, the holiday season is coming to an end as House and Senate members are set to return to work in January. Fox's Chad Pergrim has more on the potential government shutdown and disagreements.

Lawmakers left Washington without fixing skyrocketing costs for some health care premiums as Obamacare subsidies expire. But some lawmakers believe Congress can address health care in 2026. It's an election year and that could compel action. Democrats withheld their votes for government funding unless Congress renewed expiring tax credits. And Democrats aren't certain if they'll run the same political play on health care as a January 30th spending deadline looms.

The Trump administration continues to increase incentives for illegal immigrants to voluntarily self deport.

The Trump administration wants to help migrants reunite with their families. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announcing her department is tripling the incentive for illegal aliens to leave voluntarily before the end of the year.

The holiday incentive comes as the Trump administration increasingly cracks down on those who enter the country illegally and programs allowing people to come to the US Legally. After two National Guard soldiers were shot in Washington, D.C. by an Afghan national, the White House suspended all active asylum claims.

Lou Gerstner, the former CEO of IBM who led the company through one of the most consequential turnarounds in corporate history, has died. And he ran IBM from 1993 to 2002.
