The manhunt continues in the Kansas City area for the gunman who went on a shooting spree on a highway last week, firing into cars, killing one person wounded, including four others. In Northern California, shots rang out in a quiet library.

It happened at around 5:15pm The Butte County Library in Chico, California, was open when a man shot and killed two adults. A child is hospitalized with what are being called minor injuries. Gunshots and screaming can be heard in a 911 call. Chico Police set up a perimeter around the building. Some went in. The suspect fled out the back where other officers were waiting and made the arrest, recovering one gun with no shots fired. The police chief says there's no ongoing threat to the public. Federal health officials confirm the end of a hantavirus quarantine for the last eight of the American passengers who were evacuated from a Dutch cruise ship hit by a deadly outbreak. Eighteen were sent to the National Quarantine Unit in Omaha, Nebraska, in early May, with some later allowed to return to their home states under agreements to be closely monitored. But the final eight remained in Omaha for the full six week quarantine period, the longest amount of time it's been known to take for symptoms of haunting. Other passengers had been evacuated and quarantined in other countries. The outbreak sickened 13 people, killing three of them, including two Dutch passengers believed to have been the first infected while visiting South America. Lisa Brady, FOX News.
