A majority, 54%, say they believe the nation's best days are ahead, an improvement from just 43% who believed that three years ago. Almost a year after a flooding disaster, a summer camp in Texas has filed for bankruptcy.

Documents filed in bankruptcy court in Houston reveal Camp mystic is $10 million in debt with assets up to only $500,000. Last fall, families of the 25 campers and two counselors killed in the July 4th FL sued for roughly $1 million in damages. They say the camp was unprepared for an emergency. The flooding along the Guadalupe river that day killed more than 130 people, including the owner of Camp Mystic, Richard Eastland. The camp was going to reopen this summer, but canceled plans to do so a couple months ago, saying in a statement that no summer season should move forward, with families continuing to grieve.
