U.S. officials say Iran had a chance to stop shooting and they did not take it. Instead, they attacked another ship Saturday morning, a Panama flagged tanker traveling through the Strait of Hormuz. As a result, CENTCOM says US Military aircraft targeted Iranian military surveillance infrastructure, communication systems, air, air defense sites, drone storage facilities and mine layer capabilities. Commercial vessel transits through the Strait of Hormuz continue. U.S. forces remain vigilant, lethal and ready. A senior U.S. official tells our Jennifer Griffin. The strikes were larger than the ones the US Forces carried out on Friday, but they had to hit areas where Iran has regrouped some military assets.

We need the Lebanese army to deploy and to assume those positions. So it will be a gradual process. And at the end of this process, hopefully if the implementation will be successful, we will not see Hezbollah next to our border. That is the most crucial point for us.

Many Venezuelans tell me that they are thankful for how quickly the Trump administration moved resources into the country.
