It's the latest twist in the decades long saga involving the man charged with planning one of the deadliest attacks ever on the United States. He was captured in in 2003 and moved to the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The court by a two to one vote finding then Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was acting within his authority in 2024 when he canceled the plea agreement.
