The U.S. military is striking Iran again. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. It's the fifth straight day of attacks. It started about two hours ago.

They'll continue until I say it's enough. I mean, they'll continue. They've been there. You know, the word the military likes to use is degrade. They've been degraded.

And President Trump also tells Fox the attacks will ramp up next week, threatening to blow up Iran's power plants and bridges unless they return to nuclear negotiations. A US Navy blockade around Iran, Iran's ports is back in place as both countries vie for control of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and Iran keeps launching missiles and drones at other Gulf countries.

CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper gave a number we haven't heard yet. Nearly a dozen civilian crew members killed, missing or injured by the Iranian strikes. The reports we've had from witnesses is that there was rough seas and apparently the vessel began to take on water and was turned over in the bay. San Francisco Fire Chief Dean Crispin. Seventeen people were rescued, but one leader died. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanch goes to the Senate next hour for a confirmation hearing that could get testy.

Todd Blanche is expected to face some tough questions, and not just from Democrats, but potentially Republicans, too. North Carolina Republican Senator Thom Tillis had said month a proposed DOJ fund to pay those who claimed the government was once weaponized against them might mean a no vote for Blanche from him if January 6th rioters would have qualified.
