Also being discussed, a possible US And European security agreement for Ukraine. But the Trump Truth Social post added no NATO membership for Ukraine. Now as far as the war in Gaza is concerned, as Israel continues to escalate, there was a massive protest today across the country demanding a ceasefire deal to free the remaining hostages. And there are also talks on a different conflict.

US Special envoy Tom Barrack wants Israel and Iran backed Hezbollah to agree to a long term end to decades of hostility. The Lebanon based group was battered by Israel during a months long war last year. Lebanon's government has endorsed a US Backed plan for Hezbollah to disarm. It involves economic help to reconstruct the country.

NYPD Deputy Chief Eric Pagan says the officer was outside a residential building Sunday night when two people on mopeds approached him.

One male got off the moped and asked the officer, the off duty officer, if he knew an individual's name and then proceeded to display a firearm. Once seeing the firearm, the off duty officer drew his firearm, discharged multiple rounds, striking the male.

There is also a search for multiple gunmen in another shooting in New York City at a Brooklyn lounge early yesterday. Three people were killed, nine wounded in what's considered a gang related altercation. Hurricane Aaron A Catego 4 storm has been raining down in the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos, though it's not hitting directly and air and is not forecast to hit the US Either. But even as it moves away, the east coast could get some impact.

We could see 40, 50 mile an hour winds that certainly will be enough to make the waves and the rip currents pretty intense. Some of these forecast models getting up to 9 to 15 foot waves getting up along some of those coastal areas.

Amtrak passenger train service between New Orleans and Mobile, Alabama, resumes today for the first time since Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf coast nearly two decades ago. Service along the coast was suspended after Katrina devastated the region in August 2005. The Mardi Gras service offers twice daily trains with fares starting at just $15 each, with stops in Mississippi, including Bay, St. Louis, Gulfport, Biloxi and Pascagoula. The route also offers connections to Amtrak's City of New Orleans train that runs between New Orleans and Chicago via Memphis. Tanya J.
