They can't go back home, but do they want to? I'm Dave Anthony, FOX news. That's a situation for some children from Guatemala who came to the US as unaccompanied minors. They were about to be sent back on deportation flights that had to be grounded in Texas after a federal judge ruled in favor of a lawsuit filed by lawyers for some of the kids.

Arguing it could send vulnerable children back to potentially dangerous situations. Fox's Todd Pyro, White House deputy chief of Staff Stephen Miller slamming the judge's decision, saying, quote, the Biden judge effectively kidnapping these migrant children and refusing to let them return to their parents in their home country. The judge's order now blocks DHS from removing the children while this legal fight plays out.

People are digging through rubble in Afghanistan, some by hand, after an earthquake rocked an area near Jalalabad. About 800 people reported dead by the Afghan Taliban government, more than 2,000 injured. Crime is down to virtually nothing in Washington, D.C. president Trump posted that on Truth Social a few minutes ago after his crackdown that includes a National Guard troop deployment. And he wrote mayor Muriel Bowser has become very popular because she worked with him, unlike Democratic governors. As the president considers sending troops to Chicago where he claims crime is out of control.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker on CBS Face the Nation called troops that may come to Chicago and invasion and says he's not been consulted about any enforcement.

They ought to let us know when they're coming, where they're coming, if it's ICE or if it's ATF or whoever it is.

Pritzker says fellow federal law doesn't allow troop enforcement in US Cities and he will sue the president if that happens.
