And Patel says that matches Tyler Robinson, who remains jail days after Kirk, a conservative activist, was murdered. Addressing a crowd at Utah Valley University, Patel also tells FOX the suspect did write a note before the shooting.

And, and we have evidence to show what was in that note, which is, and I'm going to summarize basically saying the suspect wrote a note saying, I have the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I'm going to take it.

The president will be heading out to Arizona over the weekend to attend the memorial service. And as you mentioned last night here in Washington at the Kennedy center, we saw this moving memorial for Charlie Kirk as top staffers also paid their respects.
