And while Kimmel did not apologize for comments about Charlie Kirk's alleged assassination that had Disney suspend his show last week, Kimmel got emotional, saying he never intended to make light of a murder.

Kimmel also thanked his supporters and conservatives he disagrees with for being critical of his suspension. Though he remains off the air on dozens of ABC stations owned by Sinclair Nickstar that didn't put his show back on last night. Witnesses in the courtroom say it didn't seem to have penetrated the skin before U.S. marshals restrained him. All of this happened with the jury and Ruth's two children still in the courtroom. Sarah, Ruth's daughter, stood up and screamed, quote, don't do anything. I will get you out. This is not fair. This is all rigged. And then she ran out of the courtroom crying.

This says Congress has just six days left now to approve new funding to avert a government shutdown. And the president canceled planned talks tomorrow with Democratic leaders saying they aren't realistic in budget talks. President Trump declared that Democratic demands were, quote, ridiculous. He accused Democrats of wanting to, quote, force taxpayers to fund transgender surgery for minors. Republicans find it ironic that Democrats argued against shutdowns for years, but now some Democrats believe that shutting down is a better option. Fox's Chad Burgum at the Capitol on Wall street, stock futures arising coming off yesterday's selling that dropped the Dow on the Nasdaq down from Monday's record highs in baseball.
