United nations is reimposing sweeping sanctions on Iran after nuclear talks failed. The new restrictions target Tehran's nuclear and ballistic missiles program. It comes just three months after Israel and the US bombed Iran's nuclear sites, an 11th hour effort by Iran's allies Russia and China to postpone the sanctions failed to win enough votes in the Security Council Friday.

Iran has recalled its ambassadors to France, Great Britain and Germany in response to that vote. President Trump is sending troops to Portland, Oregon to tackle political violence, as Fox's Madeleine Rivera reports from the White House.

Still some details that we don't know regarding this expected troop deployment, including when these troops will be sent and what their duties will be. The president just making the announcement on Truth Social saying that he's directed his Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to send troops to protect Portland at any of their ICE facilities under siege from attack by antifa and other domestic terrorists. While there have been protests at the ICE facility in South Portland, the state's Democratic governor, Tina Kotak, maintains there is no national security threat in the city. Kotak says they have been provided no information on the reason or purpose of any military mission. Regardless, state and local officials have already reported seeing armored vehicles and more federal agents in the city, something they dismissed as merely a show of force.

The odor comes amid a rash of attacks on ICE agents. Flights into and out of New Jersey's Newark International Airport will remain limited longer than expected, with the FAA extending flight restrictions through October of next year. The ongoing issues include equipment challenges, a shortage of air traffic controllers, Runway construction and several other disruptions.
