Why is the CIA now doing covert operations inside Venezuela? I'm Dave Anthony, FOX News.

They've allowed thousands and thousands of prisoners, mental institution people from mental institutions, insane asylums emptied out into the United States.

And President Trump says the other reason.

We have a lot of drugs coming in from Venezuela.

The US military has already blown up five drug boats off the coast, killing 27 alleged narco terrorists. Venezuela's leader Nicolas Maduro, who the US has a $50 million reward up for his arrest, is calling for peace, warning the US Wants regime change and violating international law. But US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz tells Fox the goal is to.

Defend US Sovereignty against actions that are actively killing Americans. And Venezuela can bring whatever they want to the U.N. you know what's also part of the U.N. is Article 51 of the U.N. charter that enables a country to defend itself.

Two cops in Texas are expected to make a full recovery. The morning after they were shot, police.

In San Antonio, Texas, say they got a 911 call from a motel, but the call dropped before they could get details. As it turns out, three police officers were nearby where a suspicion. Suspicious man was taunting them, Police Chief Bill McManus told reporters. The man left and came back shouting.

At the cops, I'm not going back to prison. I'm not going back to jail.

Then took off running.

As he was running, he started pulling, pulling at his waistband, pulled out a pistol.

Death row vacancy in Mississippi after a condemned murderer was executed. He thanked God in his last words.

59 year old Charles Crawford was declared dead following a lethal injection at the Mississippi State Penitentiary in Parchment. Crawford had spent more than 30 years on death row. He was convicted of abducting Christy Ray from her parents home in northern Mississippi. When Ray's mother came home, her daughter's car was gone and a handwritten ransom note had been left on the table. And the note was traced back to Crawford, who told authorities he blacked out and did not recall killing Ray. Tom Rigotti, FOX News.

With the government shutdown, economic data not being collected and released. So we aren't getting updates on inflation and unemployment. But Federal Reserve Governor Steve Myron tells FOX Business the Fed still will make an interest rate cut at its meeting later this month. Maybe a quarter percent or 25 basis points.

My view is that it should be 50. However, I expect it to be an additional 25. And I think that we're probably set up for three 25 basis point cuts this year for a total of 75 basis points. Basis points this year.
