He's mad over an ad. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. And President Trump is so upset at Canada. He's just posted again on Truth Social hours after a late night post that terminated all trade talks. He just wrote Canada cheated and got caught with this commercial featuring President Reagan from 1987 warning about tariffs.
Peter Doocy
Tariffs inevitably lead to retaliation by foreign countries and the triggering of fierce trade wars.

The Reagan foundation says Ontario's government, which made the ad, did not get permission to edit the 1987 presidential radio address, misrepresenting it. And Fox's Peter Doocy reports that ad.

Is the reason the president called off the trade talks because he thinks it could taint upcoming Supreme Court rulings on tariffs. Here he posted on Truth Social they only did this to interfere with the decision of the U.S. supreme Court and other courts. Tariffs are very important to the national security and economy of the usa.

Now the Supreme Court will consider legal challenges to the president's authority to impose tariffs on a lot of imports around the world. And another Trump post a short time ago he wrote it's the most important case at the court ever. And trade is going to be a big topic for the president on a trip to Asia that'll include a sit down with China's leader. That meeting next week also comes amid an escalating trade war over agriculture and critical minerals and the threat of triple digit tariffs imposed. That's Fox's Jared Halpern @ the White House where the East Wing has been demolished for the president's massive ballroom addition that Trump critics keep questioning. The president leaves tonight for the trip. New York Attorney General Letitia James will go to court this morning to face fraud charges in a case she calls Trump political revenge. And Fox's Chanley Painter reports the Democrats.

Lawyers are planning to ask the judge to dismiss the indictment against her today when she does appear in that courtroom. James was indicted earlier this month on two felony charges of bank fraud and making false statements to a financial institution in connection with a 2020 home purchase in Virginia.

James vowed to target President Trump when she became AG and won a fraud lawsuit against him in the Trump Organization last year. America's listening to Fox News Will Caine.

It is day 24 of the government shutdown and it will keep going. The Senate is adjourned till Monday after another vote failed. Not on funding, which is still stymied in a standoff over health care this time. Democrats blocked yesterday an attempt to pay federal workers and US Military members who keep working in this shutdown without checks. Republicans have zero interest in addressing the health care crisis that they've created.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and fellow Democrats say they won't back a bill that doesn't include Affordable Care act tax credit extensions.

The American people to Democrats are considered pawns for leverage to go and make the far left radical base look like they're fighting Donald Trump.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise. Republicans say the GOP bill will fund the government through most of November, urging Democrats to negotiate on policies after the government reopens. Kristen Goodwin, FOX News now.

The shutdown had stopped economic reports from being released. But later this hour, we will get an inflation update on consumer prices for last month on Wall Street. Ahead of that, stock futures are rising on Thursday Night Football, a blowout in Los Angeles.

The Chargers thoroughly dominated Minnesota, beating the Vikings 3710 thanks to three passing touchdowns from Justin Herbert. Second and 10 going for it. Oh, out in front, Holden Lad McConkey, touchdown. That was courtesy of Amazon Prime Video as Herbert finished the night with 227 yards through the air while adding 62 on the ground as the Chargers improved a 5 and 3. The Vikings, without the services of quarterback J.J. mcCarthy for the fifth straight game, dropped to 3 and 4 and have lost two straight. Joe Morgan, FOX News fans in Los.
