Iranian state TV making the announcement just over a week into the war that began with his father's killing. The younger Khamenei had long been considered a contender despite never being elected or appointed to a government position. A counter protester threw an explosive device at a demonstration outside New York Mayor Zoran Mamdani's home this weekend. It happened where a far right influencer was demonstrating against a so called Islamic takeover.

FOX has learned from high level sources. The IED thrown near the mayor's home by a counter protester contained a powerful explosive called triacetone triperoxide or known as tatp. The initial protest was called quote, stop the Islamic takeover of New York City, stop New York City public Muslim prayer, end quote, and was organized by individuals associated with pardoned January 6th participant Jake Lang. Emir Bilat and Ibrahim Kayyumi are reportedly in federal custody and now being interviewed by the FBI in connection to the devices. A source tells us both are US Citizens. A second device was recovered at the scene and is still being analyzed.

This was the earliest an EF3 has ever been reported in the state, earliest in terms of calendar year. With a tornado hitting on March 6, residents captured plenty of video of this tornado as it happened in the peak of the afternoon, just tearing up entire neighborhoods as it went through, sending debris flying thousands of feet into the air. Now, at this point, they know where everybody is. But the unfortunate part of the story is we're just now getting into the heart of severe weather season and this same area is Under a level 1 out of 5 threat for severe storms on Tuesday afternoon.
