It was announced earlier Thursday that Bush was hospitalized as a result of severe illness. He pulled out of this weekend's Coca Cola 600 from Charlotte, which was going to be the first time in more than a decade that Bush missed a Cup Series race. One of NASCAR's most polarizing personalities, his fierce competitiveness led to the nickname Rowdy. He won 234 races across the sport's three national series, more than any driver in history, including 63 in the Cup Series. He's survived by his wife Samantha and his two children, an eleven year old son and a four year old daughter. Jay Berman, FOX News.

The president knocking down reports out there that Iran's supreme leader is demanding that the enriched uranium in that country stay in that country as part of any sort of a nuclear agreement. That would have complicated these talks by a lot. It would have also ticked off Israel, which does not want to see that happen. But the president today pushing back on those reports and saying it is not true.

A Florida man convicted of fatally stabbing his cousin's girlfriend and the couple's four year old daughter was put to death today. Richard Knight is the seventh person executed by the state this year. He was declared dead at 6:13pm after receiving a three drug injection at Florida State Prison near Stark. Knight sentenced to die for the June 2002 killings of Odessa Stevens and her daughter Hesia Mullings. The Justice Department charges 15 people in Minnesota for stealing $90 million from state Medicaid programs.

Officials cited programs intended to secure housing for homeless people and treat children with autism that collapsed as fraudsters piled on. The woman convicted as the kingpin in the massive Feeding Our Future scandal, Amy Bach, was sentenced to 41 and a half years in prison. Bach was also ordered to pay restitution on $243 million the government says was scammed through that Covid era food. It was intended to help kids during the pandemic but ended with taxpayers being billed for meals that did not exist. Shackled in court box sobbed and said, I understand I failed. I failed the public, my family, everyone.
