Iran says it did so because of the recent violence between the IDF and Hezbollah in Lebanon. The Israeli military claims that Hezbollah fired more than 50 projectiles. Israeli forces in southern Lebanon and Lebanon claims that these strikes have now killed as many as 20 people there today. As a result, the IRGC says ships should not approach the waterway. However, a US Defense official tells Fox that the IRGC cannot close the waterway since they don't control it. The U.S. controls it. And U.S. central Command says that ships are moving in the strait. As many as 55 merchant ships transited moving 17 million barrels of oil.

In Brooklyn, Democratic Socialist Mayor Zora Mamdani says the Democratic Party must change or it will lose the presidential election in 2028. And he says that change begins by electing more socialists Democrats in Tuesday's primary. Here in New York, he's heavily campaigning this weekend for two Democratic Socialists and one former Democratic Socialist in three New York congressional House races. They are trying to unseat two mainstream Democrats by promising to abolish ice, condemning the genocide in Israel and vowing to tax the rich.

USA 2501700 people evacuated and one dead after a fire broke out at a Dominican Republic resort. Here's fox's Jeff Paul.
Jeff Paul
Authorities are now investigating as they try to figure out how this deadly fire started. The fire was sparked on Friday at the Viva Dominicas Beach Wyndham resort in the popular tourist town of Bay Bay. Thick black smoke blanketed the area as flames soared just feet away from the crystal clear waters along the Caribbean coast, crews even using drones equipped with water hoses to try to put out the massive fire. While the exact cause of the fire is under investigation, emergency operations officials in the Dominican Republic say the fire spread rapidly, in part due to strong winds. They also say the fire moved so quickly because many of the roofs at that resort were made with a dry palm leaf material called cana. Many of the guests who were evacuated have been placed in other nearby hotels or housing facilities.

What was perhaps most pleasing about the win over Australia was the way the US Brought the pressure from the very first minute. And then in the 11th minute, Flo Baligun surged down the left hand side, crossed low and hard, and under intense pressure, one of the Australian defenders put the ball into his own goal. The second goal was scored by the youngest member of the entire US Squad, Alex Freeman. He talked about the moment of scoring and the moment he saw his teammates coming at him to celebrate.
