A number of 6, 3 decisions today marking a clear dividing line between the conservative and liberal wings of the court, starting with the narrowing of just how much power federal district court judges will have to put the brakes on executive branch decisions nationwide. Writing for the majority, Justice Barrett said there are limits. Quote, when a court concludes that the executive branch has acted unlawfully, the answer is not for the court to exceed its power, too. And for the dissent, Justice Sotomayor blasting both the White House and the court's majority. Quote, with the stroke of a pen, the president has made a solemn mockery of our Constitution. Rather than stand firm, the court gives way.

Republicans are struggling to come to an agreement on the provisions of President Trump's one big, beautiful bill. Fox's Chad Pergam has the latest from Capitol Hill.
Chad Pergam
The Senate parliamentarian took a hatchet to the GOP bill. That's because many provisions failed to comply with special Senate budget rules. So the Senate made dramatic changes to the original bill. Republican members are getting antsy, facing a weekend of work. Aligning with the House could be a challenge. House conservatives are balking at the Senate bill. They could reject the bill or change it and return to sender. The House will give its members 48 hours to get back to Washington after the Senate votes. House Speaker Mike Johnson wants the bill to copy the original House plan as much as possible.
Tom Ragati
The bill aims to make permanent tax breaks from the president's first term, along with no tax on tips, overtime pay and Social Security benefits. Trump says no one goes on vacation until it's done. Questions still loom after lawmakers on Capitol Hill received their first official briefing on the U.S. strike on three Iranian nuclear facilities last weekend. Fox's Lucas Tomlinson reports.
Lucas Tomlinson
Just days after that massive B2 strike in Iran, there are a lot of questions about that strike. The president admitted it was a hell of a week. He once again praised the pilots, those B2 bombers, as well as the sailors aboard that guided missile submarine that launched 30 Tomahawk cruise missiles into Fordo and Isfahan, of course, as well, the president was also asked should it be discovered these Iranian nuclear sites or that Iran were to continue working on its nuclear program? Reporter asked the president if he would consider striking again. He very casually said, sure.
Tom Ragati
The amount of damage to the Iranian facilities is still being investigated. A leaked initial US Intelligence damage report said it only set Iran's nuclear program back by several months. The White House has vigorously pushed back against that report. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says Iran is much further away from the nuclear weapon today. I'm Tom Regani this is Fox News.

The Senate parliamentarian has significantly altered the GOP bill because several provisions did not comply with the Senate's special budget rules. As a result, dramatic changes were made to the original proposal, causing frustration among Republican members who now face the daunting task of reconciling these modifications over the weekend.
[03:25] Chad Pergam
House conservatives are expressing considerable dissatisfaction with the Senate's amendments. House Speaker Mike Johnson has stressed the importance of aligning the final bill closely with the original House plan, stating:

"Sure."
[04:20] Lucas Tomlinson

"Iran is much further away from the nuclear weapon today."
