Brian Coburger's plea changed to guilty for the murders of four University of Idaho students was made in exchange for taking a possible death penalty off the table. The families of the victims who were killed in off campus housing near the university in Moscow, Idaho, were notified of the decision. The the family of one of those killed, Kaylee Gonzalez, responded in anger on social media saying it was unexpected and that the state of Idaho failed them. Coburger's trial was set for August.

Fox's Colonel Scott Authorities in Cordelane, Idaho said the suspect in yesterday's deadly attack on firefighters opened fire when they asked him to move his vehicle. 20 year old Wes Raleigh was found dead with his weapon next to him. Katoona County Sheriff Robert Norris says fire crews pushed Raleigh's vehicle off an embankment.

Deputies who responded on scene to protect life and engage the suspect thought it would be in their best interest to get rid of what they thought was Rollie's vehicle.

Norris says they believe that Rollie deliberately set the fire to lure firefighters into an ambush. Voting on amendments to President Trump's so called Big beautiful bill continues in the Senate with a final vote on the package expected late to.

Even if the Senate passes the bill, the House is uncertain. Republican Don Bacon announced his retirement today, but Bacon says that doesn't liberate him to either oppose or support the bill. The House Freedom Caucus claims the Senate bill increases the deficit. The caucus says, quote, it's not what we agreed to.

Lunch meat there's no baloney about the Class 3 recall of about £144,000 of ready to Eat baloney sold under a variety of names and labels. It's being removed from store shelves around the Nation, the U.S. department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service said. Geyser European Style Provisions Inc. Is recalling the baloney products due to misbranding. The agency said the products contain undeclared meat or poultry source materials. The items were distributed nationwide to wholesale and retail locations.
