New developments in the Mideast. I'm Roger Stern, Fox News. For the second straight day, the US has paused airstrikes against Iran. But now the Houthis are threatening Saudi Arabia and shipping in the Red Sea. Fox is trekinxed in Tel Aviv as

US And Iranian officials say diplomatic efforts are ongoing to reach a deal that could end the current escalation. The Iran backed Houthis in Yemen are once again in direct conflict with Saudi Arabia after attacking two Saudi owned oil tankers last week. The Saudis were responded with heavy airstrikes against the Yemen based proxy group. Now the Houthis then ramped up their attacks on Saudi oil refineries, launching new missiles over the weekend. Days ago, President Trump issued a warning to the Houthis saying that if attacks on vessels in the Red Sea continue that both the Houthis and Iran would pay a military price.

Tensions between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia escalated after Yemen's internationally recognized government bombed a Runway in an airport where an Iranian plane was supposed to land. Police in Berlin shot and killed a man they say drove a van into a Pride festival yesterday, killing one person, injuring dozens of others. Fox's Rebecca Castor.

He's been identified by police as 21 year old Abdul B. A German citizen born in the country but has family ties to Lebanon. He's known by police after committing other crimes in the past. Authorities didn't share what those were. Police believe Abdul was driving a white van that drove into a crowd near Berlin's massive Pride Festival Saturday night. German officials say all the evidence points to this being an Islamist terrorist attack because the suspect is a known radicalized member in Islamic circles.

A close family friends tells us that Liz was vacationing for more than a week with a friend in Grenada. It was set to be a three week trip, but ever since Wednesday, she has been nowhere to be found. So now some of her family, including her husband and twin sister are on the Caribbean island joining locals in searching for Liz and the friend. We've been talking to, Amanda Romano Harmon is giving us more details into what happened.

When her friend finished up, she looked up and she didn't see Liz out there. So she went out there to walk around and see if she could find her and she found her towel on the pier.

Romano Harmon says they don't know much else other than that right now. And she says it's been a daily struggle for Liz's family.

Police are asking people along the coast for help. Crews battled wildfires in Spain and France as Europe grapples with record breaking temperatures. Fox's Stephanie Bennett in Europe with more

shifting winds and dry conditions are really fueling these wildfires across France and Spain as crews say they're struggling to get the upper hand. Around 100 homes were destroyed in just one town alone west of the wine region of Bordeaux. Almost a quarter of a million people have been evacuated so far in France. The country's interior minister says the situation remains very unfavorable. The wildfire is generating its own winds, in fact, and moving erratically inching closer towards the Bordeaux Metropol. At last check. It's just a few miles out. 162 square miles had been burned and more fires are burning further south.

More than 250,000 people were evacuated in Spain. The last leg of the Tour de France was shortened to allow security forces to be deployed. Tropical Storm Genevieve has strengthened to a Category 4 hurricane in the Pacific Ocean southwest of Mexico. I'm Roger Stern and this is FOX News.
