At least one victim being transported to a hospital with what's being described as serious, potentially life threatening wounds after a midshipman who had been kicked out of the academy reportedly returned with a weapon. The body of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, now in Arizona after being escorted by Vice President Vance and others. As the FBI offers a $100,000 reward for information leading to capture of the suspect.

Police say the suspect appears to be college aged and blended in on campus. And the person appears to have on a long dark shirt which lines up with eyewitness video and eyewitness accounts and also dispatch audio which described the suspect as wearing dark clothing.

Members of the FDNY Emerald Society, Pipes and drums took part in a ceremony where the Twin Towers once stood. And the names of the nearly 3,000 people who died were read aloud by family members and loved ones. A ceremony also took place this morning in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where a fourth plane believed to have been headed for the Capitol went down. Passengers on that plane overtook the hijackers to prevent that from happening. Republican Josh Kraft, the son of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, dropped down to the Boston mayor's race. Nadine Menendez is sentenced in New York to four and a half years in prison for helping to sell her husband's political influence in exchange for bribes, including cash, gold bars and a luxury car. Bob Menendez, a New Jersey Democrat who resigned from the Senate after his conviction last August, is serving an 11 year sentence. Mrs. Menendez says in court, I put my life in his hands and he strung me like a puppet. He's not the man I thought he was. The judge says she was not the true force behind the conspiracies as portrayed at her husband's trial, but that she knew what she was doing. She'll be allowed to complete medical procedures before reporting to prison next summer. Two New Jersey businessmen convicted with Senator Menendez are serving seven and eight year sentences. Inflation rose last month as the price of gas, groceries and airfares jumped. Consumer prices increased 2.9% in August from a year earlier, according to the labor department, up from 2.7% the previous month and the biggest jump since January. Excluding the volatile food and energy categories, core prices rose 3.1%, the same as in July. Both figures are above the Federal Reserve 2% target. I'm Lisa Licera. This is FOX News.
