Day four in the trial of Ryan Ruth, the man accused of trying to kill President Trump while he was playing golf in Florida last year. The jury heard audio of the Secret Service spotting the would be assassin. Shot fired, shots fired, shot fired.

No shots were fired. Ruth has pled not guilty to attempting to assassinate a major presidential candidate, assaulting a federal officer and gun charges. Ruth, who was representing himself, has indicated that he plans to call a firearms expert as well as several character witnesses. He hasn't said whether he plans to testify. The Israeli military beginning its offensive in Gaza City.

Two divisions of ground forces are advancing towards the center of the city. A third to come, 2,000 to 3,000 Hamas fighters believed holed up in the city's tunnels and wreckage. The problem? Civilian inhabitants. While some 350,000 have fled, half a million still remain nowhere to run. Caught in the crossfire.
