Applying the pressure to get peace. I'm Angelo Bavaro, Fox News President Trump posting on Truth Social that Israel has agreed to an initial withdrawal line in Gaza and when Hamas confirms a ceasefire will be effective.
Fox News Reporter
President Trump is urging Hamas to follow through and start releasing those hostages. He posted, quote, hamas must move quickly or else all bets will be off. I will not tolerate delay, which many think will happen or any outcome where Gaza poses a threat. Again, let's get this done fast. Everyone will be treated fairly. The president also says he appreciates that Israel has temporarily stopped bombing Gaza to give the hostage release and peace deal a chance to succeed. Israel says it believes there are around 20 living hostages in Gaza. Hamas says it's willing to release the hostages and transition Gaza's government to other Palestinians.

Fox's Rich Edson Hamas said Friday it's willing to release hostages and hand over power to other Palestinians. But but other parts of that plan require more consultations. The governor of Illinois says the Trump administration plans to federalize 300 members of the National Guard.
Governor J.B. Pritzker
Democratic Gov. J.B. pritzker says he got an ultimatum from the Pentagon, call up your troops or we will. The governor issuing a statement saying it is absolutely outrageous and un American to demand a governor send military troops within our own borders and against our will. Those words coming after several anti ICE protests in the Chicago suburb of Broadview where an ICE immigration facility is housed. And Homeland Security says law enforcement patrolling in Broadview were rammed by vehicles and boxed in by 10 cars. They say officers were forced to deploy their weapons and fired shots at an armed U.S. citizen. That citizen was injured.

January 2025 a judge sentencing Sean Diddy Combs on Friday to four years in prison, five years of supervised release and a $500,000 fine.

Once all said and done, he'll likely only spend about two and a half years behind bars if he gets credit for time served and good behavior. But the rapper's defense team still is not satisfied, arguing that they've got a strong case for an appeal. The rapper himself, his adult children and other supporters pleaded for leniency, asking the judge for a sentence that would have Diddy Walk by the end of this year on time served. He told the judge he no longer cared about fame and was a changed man. The judge said the court had to send a message to abusers about accountability and that he was not convinced Diddy would not reoffend.

Fox's CB Cotton Combs also faces 50 civil lawsuits for sexual abuse. He was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Note cards used by former President Joe Biden are raising more concerns about the former president's mental state while in office. Fox's Mark Meredith has details.

The cards, spotted on occasion by press photographers, listed people at public events, even highlighting high profile people widely known in politics, world affairs and Hollywood. A former Biden staffer tells Fox the cards are standard operating procedure for briefing materials, but House Republicans believe it's part of a broader cover up. Critics are also curious about one particular card showing a potential question from ABC News. The reporter asked a different question, but critics say the photo sparks real concerns about journalism ethics. In 2023, the White House denied it was getting any advance notice.

The House is releasing a separate report on Biden's mental health while in office. That's expected by the end of the year. I'm Angelo Bavaro and this is Fox News.
