Negotiations to end the government shutdown on Jack Callaghan, FOX News, as the Senate fails to pass proposals to end it this evening. Those negotiations took place on the sixth day of the federal government shutdown. Democrats in terms of their demands for an extension of the affordable health care subsidies.

I will say this, just hang in there because I think a lot of good things are going to happen. That's all I can say. I mean, I think a lot of good things could happen and that could also pertain to health care.

President didn't say that he was speaking to Democrat leaders specifically, but when asked if he'd make a deal with the Democrats on affordable health care subsidies demanded by the Democrats, he said he would if it's the right deal. The president is optimistic of a ceasefire within days.

Hamas and Israel are trying to finalize details of a 20 point US proposal that would free all remaining hostages in exchange for an Israeli withdrawal.

The Treasury Department has sanctioned a network of companies and their affiliates which allegedly supplied precursors chemicals to make fentanyl to a faction of Mexico, Mexico's Sinaloa cartel. A dozen Mexican based companies and eight of the people managing them were accused of using their pharmaceutical, laboratory, chemical cleaning and real estate businesses to buy the chemicals and then provide them to that cartel faction run by the Sons, the former El Chapo Guzman. America is listening to Fox News.
