The President Trump in Egypt earlier today where he met with leaders of more than 30 countries to discuss the peace deal between Israel and Hamas. 20 living hostages were reunited with their families today. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to meet with President Trump Friday for talks on the potential US Provision of long range weapons. Yesterday, President Trump warned Russia he may send Ukraine long range Tomahawk missiles if Moscow, Moscow doesn't settle its war there soon. Another state has scheduled a vote to redraw congressional maps that could add to an already conservative lean.

Republican leaders of North Carolina's General assembly say a vote next week to redraw congressional lines is scheduled. State lawmakers in 2023 passed a map that took its U.S. house delegation from seven Democrats and Republicans each in 2022 to a 10 to 4 GOP seat advantage. Two years later, a new map could reshape a swing district to add an 11th Republican friendly seat. North Carolina GOP leaders say they are following President Donald Trump's call to nullify Democratic redistricting. Texas and Missouri have passed new district maps, but both face challenges.

The Supreme Court revealed arguments this week over whether one Southern states creation of a second black majority congressional district violates the Voting Rights Act.

Black voter groups and advocates in Louisiana sued after a redrawn congressional map following the 2020 census created just one Black majority voting district out of six in a state that's a third black lower court sided with them and then the state sued. But they did add a second majority black district in the meantime after the high court found Alabama had violated the Voting Rights act and diluted black voting power. Vienna, though, argued that race rather than politics is the main factor in redrawing the state's congressional map. The justices are now asking both sides here to address whether the intentional creation of a second district violates the 14th and 15th Amendments of the Constitution. Bank or ATM Beware of the bank juggers. Police in Hermosa beach say people need to stay vigilant against the criminals known to follow customers leaving a bank with cash, bank envelopes or cash bags in hand. Those criminals then wait for their victims to make their next stop. And once they're out of the car, they either break into the vehicle to steal the money or in some cases attack that person and force them to hand it over. Police say perpetrators are also using social media to identify potential targets by monitoring check ins and financial transactions posted online.
