Dallas Police Chief Daniel Como says he rejected $25 million from the US government saying it was an offer to get his department to formally enter a cooperation agreement with U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Tracy Barkheimer is charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery. Arrested at the airport in Boise, Idaho early Tuesday, an Alaska Airlines flight from Portland to Dallas made an emergency landing there after police say Barkheimer was acting erratically and hit two crew members trying to calm her down. The airline tells Fox it was one crew member. Barkheimer lives in Washington state, president of a consulting service for companies looking to do business with the Navy.
