He's charged with assault. I'm Dave Anthony, FOX News. The man who attacked Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar at a town hall in Minnesota last night. He pulled out a syringe and sprayed something onto Omar they say smelled awful. She asked for a napkin. And though her staff urged the congresswoman to go, Omar kept speaking and her attacker was arrested. It happened hours after border czar Tom Holman arrived to oversee immigration enforcement, attempting to calm tension that got even worse with Saturday's deadly shooting of a protester. And fox's Matt Finn reports from Minneapolis. Holman met with Democratic leaders.

President Trump has laid out a plan for ending the chaos in Minnesota, which in part requires Minnesota to turn over criminals for deportation. But Mayor Fry doesn't seem willing to play ball there, writing I also made it clear that Minneapolis does not and will not enforce federal immigration laws and that we will remain focused on keeping our neighbors and streets safe.

And President Trump just posted on Truth Social that Mayor Fry is is playing with fire. The president held a rally in Iowa last night. Twelve months ago, Joe Biden handed us a mess touting an improved economy and a closed border, kicking off weekly campaign events warning if Democrats will undo what he's done if Republicans lose control of Congress in November. Today marks 40 years since a disaster many Americans watched on television live. We have main engine start. The shuttle Challenger made history launching a teacher into space. Christa McAuliffe, part of a crew of seven, 73 seconds. Though after launch, Challenger broke apart, all seven were killed. Retired astronaut Bonnie Dunbar flew on Challenger's last successful mission months earlier and tells the Fox News rundown podcast, it's horrific.
