A police officer is being mourned in Indiana after being shot and killed responding to a disturbance at an apartment in Beech Grove in the Indianapolis area. Our hearts are absolutely shattered tonight with the news of Officer Elliott's passing. This community is going to be in.

Indiana State Police Sgt. John Perrine says hours later after getting a tip from the public, they found the suspected gunman and arrested him late last night. Another officer was also shot and wounded. And we've also learned about in Baltimore, Maryland, the search continuing for one or more gunmen who opened fire in a shopping mall shooting last night. One person was killed and three wounded. And there was also a shooting at a high school hockey game in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Three people including the shooter are dead in what Pawtucket police say was a targeted attack and appears to stem from a quote, family dispute at the hockey game. 16 year old Olin Lawrence was in the net as goalie when he heard the shots.

It was like bop, bop. And I thought it was balloons, but it just kept going. And it was actually gunshots. And after the gunshots, me and my teammates ran right to the locker room and we just bunkered up. We pressed against the door and just tried to stay safe down in there.

Police say the shooter was in his 50s and turned the gun on himself after opening fire. The FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said on social media that agents were being sent to investigate. Tanya J. Powers, FOX News.

The gunman has been identified as Robert Dorgan, but had been going by the name Roberta. On Wall street, we could see some selling after the long holiday weekend. Dow futures are down modestly.
