French President Emmanuel Macron wants to make his armed forces stronger because he thinks Russia's war on Ukraine has put Europe at great risk. So he's asking 18 and 19 year olds to sign up for 10 months of military service. Enlisting will be voluntary, but the French government hopes to get up to 50,000 volunteers a year by 2035 Volunteers will be paid. They'll get one month of training, then be assigned to a unit to perform the same duties as active military personnel. Last week, France's new army chief of staff told his country it needs to get prepared to lose its children. Jonathan Savage, FOX News.
