Nikita Cassis shot and killed his parents at their home in Waukesha, Wisconsin last February. Their bodies were found about two weeks later by police doing a welfare check. Cassis 17 years old, then 18 now, was arrested in Kansas driving his stepfather's SUV with $14,000 in cash, jewelry, passports, his stepfather's gun and the family dog. Prosecutors say he wanted the money and freedom from his parents to fund a plan to assassinate President Trump, a plan that he'd told other people about. He'd originally pled not guilty. The conviction comes with two mandatory life sentences. A judge will decide in March if Cassis will ever be eligible for parole. Chris Foster, Fox News, Washington.
